Next meeting will be September 28th Thursday 6:30pm-8:30pm, here’s the Google Calendar event in case you’d like to copy it to your calendar: Google Calendar Event Tarot Talk
Tarot Talk is a casual drop-in monthly conversation about Tarot and other cartomancy. The meet is open to beginners, enthusiasts, experts, and the curious. We will discuss individual cards and various decks, their uses for: meditation. counseling, intent, superstition, deck structure, pop culture, etc. during the first hour. In the second hour, the conversation will shift into a group reading for one volunteering attendee. There is no cost to attend, but a donation is greatly appreciated.
I attended Tarot Share hosted by Circle Works and run by Jax Rula for many years, and the structure of this meet is based on what I learned from those experiences. On top of the in-person gathering, we can keep the conversation going on a Tarot Talk Discord I have set up.
People are welcome to start arriving at 6:15pm, discussion should get underway starting about 6:30pm. Conversation will shift starting about 7:30pm and we will lock the door to create privacy and a lack of interruption for the reading. We will wrap up at 8:30pm and Dubleve Wands will be open until 9:00pm for any shopping you may wish to do.
The room Tarot Talk will take place in is the Kitchener Waterloo Artists Co-op workshop (next room to Dubleve Wands). The building is zoned for business and residential and those living in the building have the only front of building parking spots. Vendors and visitors will make use of the available street parking. The workshop is located on the right hand side of the building down a flight of six steps. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.
Thank you for initiating this engaging ‘Tarot Talk’! Your thoughtful reflections and interpretations on various tarot cards offer valuable insights and provoke meaningful contemplation.
Thank you for your kind words. Which Tarot Talk session did you attend? I see you comment is from March. Was it March?
